Don – 20 years of street poetry
In spring 2021, the Bernese rap musician Don presented his debut album Wiudbluämä, with which he gained respect in the scene with high-quality lyrics and sensitive poetry and was able to enjoy a rapidly growing community. Or as Aightgenossen.ch wrote: “An exciting album on which there are references to ancient buildings and great jazz musicians.”
Robot whip
Don rhymes in clear Bernese German and ponders the relationship between humans and robots. Metaphors about cancel culture and consumer society can be seen in the verses. Will the protagonist marry the robot girl at the end of the track? The Bernese saxophonist Saxovoni accompanies the song musically. He is also responsible for the artwork.
